Amy Restoule

I decided to join the board at Kinderplace because I was on maternity leave and had some extra time on my hands and wanted to make a difference. After the 2017 Annual General Meeting I felt compelled that my organizational skills and education would add value to the board.
My education includes an early childhood education diploma. I was able to work as an E.C.E facilitating a before and afternoon program at
Canadore
College while attending university. I obtained an Honours Degree in Sociology followed by a degree in Business Commerce from Nipissing University in North Bay. I had the intentions of teaching but decided to take a managerial route instead. I travelled with previous retail companies before arriving in Thunder Bay over 5 years ago.
I enjoy interacting with fellow board members, wonderful staff, and new parents. I have a passion for learning and helping others. Being a
Kinderplace
Board Member has helped me fulfill these goals by participating in the continued development of a non-profit organization.
